What’s all this?
I work with a Service Dog specially trained to assist with my disability. She accompanies me whenever possible, including at work and on stage.
Two questions:
Is she a service animal required because of a disability?
Yes.
What work or tasks has she been trained to perform?
She has been trained in medical alert and response, crowd control, and light guide work.

“…Ok, but tell me more about Kairi!”

Kairi is a two-and-a-half-year-old Aussiedoodle Service Dog.
“Kairi and I are a true team. She’s more than a pet or a friend. We are partners. She gives me the ability to live my best life, and I try to give her the best life possible in return.”
Ingrid and Kairi have trained together since the day Kairi turned eight weeks old!
Kairi was trained by a team of professional dog trainers and her handler. She was trained without positive punishment; she has never been hit, struck, or harmed on purpose in any way. She performs her tasks and behaviors because she wants to, and knows that she always gets good things (like treats and ear rubs) when she performs as expected.
